Welcome to the Kids Write Network (KWN) .
KWN was created by Helen Georgaklis in 2010 and is a 6-step therapeutic and literary process.
Its intent is for children to write about their personal experiences in order to learn and teach others from them.
Each student shares a challenge that he/she has experienced and discusses/shares the lesson they learned with their peers.
To begin this process, in-class discussions take place as well as stories and experiences are shared with those involved.
Once the discussions and the written stories have been completed, a library of books for children, written by children, is being created under the “”Kids 4 Kids”” imprint. With parents’ consent, each child’s story is published by the 99 SERIES and be made available to the public online and in stores. It is important to note that the stories do not use real names and that each child may choose to remain anonymous or appear as the author. It is at their discretion.”
The KWN encourages students to share the daily challenges children face at school today while offering hope and courage for patients in children’s hospitals. Becoming published authors of their work encourages proper writing and reading which helps improve the literacy in our youth while restoring the ability to dream.

Join the kids write network, a revolutionary literary and therapeutic program. Increase the awareness by lending your voices to help us raise theirs.

YOU CANNOT TEACH A CHILD IF YOU CANNOT REACH A CHILD
